STUDENT LEADERSHIP EXCELS IN DES MOINES

Over the weekend, our student leadership core traveled to Des Moines, IA, where the National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors (NAECAD) hosted a crucial conference where participants were updated on the state of the Esports industry, and learned critical skills related to the development and coaching of students in an Esports program. NAECAD is a leading support organization for Esports programs across the country and seeks to improve communication in an industry with many differing standards. Squad Leads Joel Rucker, Nick Spry, and Jasyah Macugay joined Program Manager Nathan Heyward and Director Ryan Manes as they gained insightful tools as they continue leading their Practice Squads in anticipation of Olivet Esports’ competitive launch this Fall.
